Maya Rodriguez is a twenty-something from the DC metro area. Maya’s first love was coloring. Upon realizing she couldn’t major in “filling in the lines”, she graduated from University of Maryland with a Visual Arts and Writing BFA. A graphic/web designer by trade and editor by default, Maya has worked with artists, entrepreneurs, non profits, musicians, etc. on content that was original and inspired. Her work has been feature in Miami New Times, AfroPunk.com, and GumRoad. When she is not in DC, you can find her on somebody’s airline traveling embarking on her next adventure. Her favorite country so far is Cuba, her favorite food is arroz gondolas and her favorite medium is still crayons.

Her photography, and graphic work has been featured in Miami New Times, AfroPunk.com, Vice, and GumRoad.

When she is not in DC, you can find her on somebody’s airline embarking on her next adventure. Her favorite countries so far: Brazil & Cuba; her favorite food: her abuela's arroz con gandules; her passion: creating art that is authentic and inclusive.
